This battle mat is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a Table Top War Game scenario i am planning for my club, the South Jersey Gamers Alliance. In it 28mm miniatures representing early 18th century English militia will use long boats to land on the shore of a Caribbean Island and traverse through the jungle to attack the fortress of a Spanish adversary.

This fits many of my skirmish games needs. Perfect layout for cyberpunk combat, rogue warriors or any walking dead set of rules.

I was pretty skeptical about getting a plush blanket mat with a cobblestone print on it - seems like it would not look good if it got brushed the wrong way, but the image on this mat is excellent - Overall a little shiny, but not a dealbreaker especially considering the low price and free shipping! Wanted to hold out to try the flat cloth version, but it wasn’t available yet, and I needed this quickly for a scheduled game.

It’s a great product, durable and you can wash it. Will definitely buy another.

Wargaming Battle Mat 'Lava Land'

When I opened the package containing my mat, I first noticed shades of desert pink. That impressed me! Two-dimensional, printed terrain features include: rock formations in shades of brown, black, gray, and white; blotches resembling desert scrub in shades of green and brown; dry water courses in shades of black and brown; and open desert in shades of pink, brown, and sand. The artwork is excellent! Since this is a plush mat, one can create further color variations by running a hand across its surface. The mat completely covers my 4' x 6' table with some overhang on all four sides. I've already used it to set up a game based on the World War II Battle of Kasserine Pass.

Received the mat quickly with free shipping, much nicer than the pictures on the website.

What a great product! It has great colors, folds away easily for storage and in a pinch can be used as a survival blanket! The team at Battle Mat filled the order quickly and without issue. I would definitely buy from them again
