The Black Fen is a handcrafted terrain set built for wargamers who want their table to tell a story before the first die rolls. Dead trees rising from standing water. Muddy bog patches where boots — and worse — disappear. Reeds and marsh grasses clinging to ground that hasn't been dry in a hundred years.

Each piece is built on a sturdy MDF base, shaped, textured, and hand-finished. The water effects — pond and bog pools alike — are poured solid resin, meaning no warping, no cracking, no peeling film over time. These aren't display pieces. They're built to survive transport, setup, and the kind of wargaming that happens on kitchen tables.

Built for play: Scaled with 28mm figures in mind, but the low-profile bases work cleanly with 15mm, 20mm, and 10mm forces. No towering edges, no awkward footprints — bases sit flat and let your minis stand on the mud where they belong.

Compatible with virtually any ruleset — Dark Ages skirmish, fantasy wargames, historical, post-apocalyptic. If your game has terrain rules, these pieces work.
