These are FeltPro™ Cut & Play Dirt Roads in the small format — 2.5" wide, sized for footpaths in 28mm, cart tracks and dirt roads in 15mm, and proper roads at 6mm and 10mm. Part of the FeltPro™ system, not a standalone mat.

Cut & Play means exactly that. Scissors. That's the tool. Trim a straight into a shorter connector. Give the edges a wandering, washed-out shoulder so it looks like a trail and not a runway. Narrow a stretch where it threads between trees, then widen it back out on the other side. Carve a branch the kit didn't come with. Split a curve in half to tighten the radius around a hill. These are felt. They're meant to be cut. Cut with confidence.

Then drape them. That's the third dimension nobody else gives you. Lay a straight over a rise and it holds the slope. Drop a bend through a gully and it sinks in. Scouts climb actual ground. Carts roll through real dips. No more flat track pretending to be a hill.
