The reason for only a 4 star rating is that the black outline of the hexes is difficult to discern when used in conjunction with the Grasslands shading. The dark green of the mat can washout the hex outlines. Possibly a brighter color such as a medium gray would be in order for this specific mat.

I also have the "Just Desert" mat, and there is no problem with seeing the hexes.

Other than that issue, the mat is of excellent quality, and I recommend the overall product line.
