Terrain that follows the ground

Use the pieces flat for fast, clean 2D layouts. Or build real elevation: put anything under your FeltPro mat — foam, books, a stack of magazines, a rolled-up sock — and the mat drapes over it into an actual hill. Infantry stand on the slope. Vehicles sit genuinely hull down. The crest breaks line of sight, because there is a crest.

Then lay Cut & Play pieces over the formed ground. A road that climbs the hillside. A river running the valley floor. Every piece conforms to the contour and stays there.

Roads, rivers, and fields work across skirmish and mass-battle alike — Kill Team, Necromunda, Trench Crusade, Frostgrave, Forbidden Psalms, and historical games from Napoleonics through WWII. Nominally 28mm or 15mm, but the pieces read fine at smaller scales.
