    Product Overview

The lane narrows past the last house. Cobblestones still underfoot, but the grass is winning. Ten more yards and it's just a dirt track into the fields.

That moment is on this sheet. Literally.

These are FeltPro™ Cut & Play Cobblestone Roads in a small format — 2.25" stone roadbed with green verge on both sides, delivered on a 30" × 40" sheet. Sized for narrow village lanes in 28mm, proper roads in 15mm, and main roads at 6mm/10mm. Part of the FeltPro™ system, not a standalone mat.

    What you get:

    • 4 long straights at ~20" × 2.25" (stone) with grass verge on both sides
    • Nested 90° curves at multiple radii — tight corners and sweeping bends from the same set
    • S-curve for winding approaches
    • T-junction and 4-way cross intersection
    • Two cobblestone-to-dirt transition pieces — where the paved road ends and the country track begins
    • Roughly 130"+ of total road — over 10 feet of cobblestone across the sheet
    • Delivered on a 30" × 40" FeltPro™ sheet

Two transition pieces. Not one. Pair this set with our FeltPro™ Cut & Play Dirt Roads (large or small) and you get two points where the cobblestones give way to the dirt trail. Two exits from a village. Both ends of a single stone road through town. The road into the hamlet and the road out. That's the FeltPro™ system doing what it does — sets connect to sets, and the table keeps growing.

About the verge. The green grass shoulder is a feature, not filler. Leave it on for a country lane — hedgerow-lined, mud-shouldered, the kind convoys curse and infantry loves. Trim it off flush to the stone for a tight village street. Trim one side and leave the other for a road that runs along a wall or canal. Your table, your scissors, your call.

Cut & Play means exactly that. Scissors. That's the tool. Trim a straight into a shorter connector. Narrow the verge where it squeezes between buildings, widen it back out past the churchyard. Chop the S-curve into two separate bends. Carve a dead-end the kit didn't come with. These are felt. They're meant to be cut. Cut with confidence.

Then drape them. That's the third dimension nobody else gives you. Lay a straight over a ridge and it holds the crest. Drop a curve through a depression and it sinks in. Minis climb real slopes. Vehicles roll over actual ground. No more flat cobblestones pretending to be a hill.

    Why FeltPro™:

    • Lightweight. Roll it, fold it, toss it in a bag. Even the mat itself is only 30×40.
    • Real topography. Cut & Play pieces drape over your existing terrain and hold shape under minis and vehicles.
    • A system, not a mat. Two transition pieces link this set to the FeltPro™ Dirt Roads so your road network doesn't stop at the town gates.
    • Costs less than neoprene. You shouldn't have to pay rubber-yoga-mat money for cobblestones.

    Scale notes:

    • 28mm — village lanes, narrow town streets, garden paths between estates
    • 15mm — proper roads, village main streets, supply routes
    • 6mm / 10mm — highways, main routes, MSRs

Works for Black Powder, Sharp Practice, General d'Armée, Bolt Action, Chain of Command, SAGA, Flames of War, Mordheim, Frostgrave — anywhere stone underfoot is part of the story.

The paving stops. The dirt starts. Keep going.
