Why cut felt instead of printed-on terrain

A road printed onto a mat is stuck where the printer put it. Cut & Play sections aren't. You put them where the game needs them, move them between games, and take them off completely when you want open ground.

For woods it settles an argument you've had before. Everyone has stood over the table working out whether a model counts as "in the trees" when the trees are loose on the tabletop. Cut out a copse, lay it down, stand your own trees on top of it, and the edge of the woods is where the felt ends. No debate, no laser pointers, no house rules.

They work over your hills, too

If you're building elevation the FeltPro way — foam, books, a stack of magazines, rolled up socks, whatever's to hand, underneath the mat — the Cut & Play pieces lay flat across the draped surface on top. A dirt road running up and over a crest. A river down in the valley floor.

What's in the set

Dirt Road Straights — 2.5" wide, Straight sections only. Laid end to end they'll run a road clean across a standard table, or you can break them into shorter stretches wherever you need them. Matches our other 2.5" Dirt Roads.

River Straights — 3" wide Straight sections only, matched to the same 3" width as our River — 3" sheet, so they extend it directly if you already own one.

Woodland Copse —  17 pieces of various sizes. Cut them out, lay them down, and stand your own trees on top... or not. Nominally 28mm & 15mm, but they read perfectly well at other scales.

Storage

The whole set folds down to nothing and fits in a gallon ziplock bag. No foam trays, no box of resin, no shelf given over to terrain you use twice a year.

What it's for

Anything played on a table. WH40K, Age of Sigmar, Trench Crusade, Frostgrave, Forbidden Psalms, and any historical ruleset where you need a road, a river and some woods — which is most of them.

FeltPro is a felt based wargame mat system, so the sheets are soft and pliable rather than rubber-backed. That's what lets them fold small and follow the ground underneath.
