Each lane runs roughly 3" wide, so a full two-lane road gives you about 6" of total road width. That's enough for two 28mm vehicles to pass, enough for a squad to move up a lane in cover, and enough that a car chase doesn't turn into a parking problem. Sidewalks and crossings are scaled to match.
